Night markets can provide a relaxing evening when combined with dinner at a cafe or restaurant, and the
Bondi Beach Night Market is no exception with lots of good restaurants nearby.
The Bondi Market has keeps hours depending on the time of year.
In September, October, November, March and April it's open for business from 12.30pm till 9 pm on Saturdays and Sundays and all Public Holidays.
In December, January and February it's open from 12.30pm till 9 pm on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, and usually all Public Holidays.
It's very easy to find on Roscoe St Mall (just off Campbell Parade) opposite the beach. Here is
a map.
The best time to visit is a Saturday night during the summer, as there are more people about which in turn attracts more stallholders.
There is an eclectic range of items for sale. You'll find everything from clothes and jewellery, to seashells and paintings. The market has no theme as such.
A nice feature of the Bondi Markets is that they are non-profit, and are run by a collective of stallholders. I guess that's what makes them so eclectic.
Why? Dinner at a good restaurant followed by a stroll around the markets makes for a nice relaxing evening.
