The Names Bond, Bond By The Lake
A creative arts and cultural festival celebrating the roaring 1920's.
This is a completely FREE event to be held at Bond University by the lake on Sunday 14 October celebrating everything that is creative, cultural and cabaret.
Kicking off at 1pm and running till 5.30pm, it offers a variety of wonderful entertainment including live music, creative workshops, local and regional cuisine, kids entertainment, roving performers, antique cars, art, photography and dance. Plus much much more.
Highlights include an exclusive fashion show by California Vintage, a host of live music, at the stunning ADCO Amphitheatre overlooking the lake, featuring the very talented Woohoo Revue (Melbourne) and Melissa Western performing her critically acclaimed 'Oh Lady Be Good' cabaret, plus The Village Markets with its unique style and locally handcrafted products.
I have been to Bond University a number of times and I am always overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of the campus, the imposing style of the buildings and gorgeous views across the lake. It is a wonderful setting for a fabulous afternoon of live music, fashion and art with a twist of twenties style. I cannot wait.
Don't miss out. Head down to Bond University in Varsity Lakes on Sunday 14 October, and see what all the fuss is about.
