The title says it all and entry is FREE on the 7th of September from 1pm to 4pm. Author Neil Kidd (grand nephew of Major Kidd and author of 'Uncle Tom's Diary - A Book of Secrets') will be at the ANZAC Cottage at 2.30pm to talk about the book that he has written which has been inspired by the Bomb Proof Kidd's diaries.

Major Thomas Anderson Kidd was known to his soldiers as the 'Bomb Proof Kidd' and he left a great legacy by writing down his experiences during World War 1 in his diary.

Copies of the book will be available on the day and Neil will be happy to sign them. Visitors can look through the cottage either before or after Neil's talk and afternoon tea will be available for a gold coin donation.
