Haven't tried Bollywood Dance before? No problem. There are no age or experience restrictions - simply a chance to get together and feel the energy and infectious beats of Bollywood music. Sessions are run every Saturday from 8-9 am during school term.

Bollywood Dance is free as part of Brisbane Council Active Parks program which offers a variety of free and fun fitness and well-being activities for individuals of all ages, fitness levels and abilities across the city.

What is Bollywood Dance?
Not familiar with this dance form? Well, Bollywood is a fusion of classical Indian dance, folk Indian dance or the more current R&B, hip hop music. The name Bollywood reflects the Indian film industry (a combination of Bombay and Hollywood) which often features this dance form and is one of the largest and most profitable creative industries.

So, get your hips shaking for fun and fitness at a Bollywood Dance Session at Fig Tree Pocket this summer. Biami Yumba Park is located at Kenny St, Fig Tree Pocket which is situated 16.5 kms from the Central Business District
