A giant lolly shop with old-world charm
Braidwood has plenty of historic sites to draw in people driving past, but once kids know about The Boiled Lolly it becomes a mandatory stop. . . and it's not just the kids, either.

This enormous cornucopia of gastronomical delights tends to make first time visitors stop in their tracks and look around with rapturous expressions. They specialise in hand-made chocolates with scores of different flavours and features - I recommend the nuts coated in Baileys chocolate!

I always find something new - a treat I've never seen before - and something old - something from my childhood that I thought was gone forever. There are several different fill-a-bag options to choose from, which could have your ten-year old agonising for hours.

It's also a great place for a small but special gift.
