Body Painting classes are now available!

You can learn how to body paint with award-winning body paint artist, Suzanne Mykolajenko.



You may not want to end up looking quite like this, however there is so much you can do with a little knowledge on this art, and you can be so creative!

No matter whether you have experience or not, can draw or not, these classes will teach you all levels of this fascinating art whether you are a beginner, or already have some knowledge of this painting.

If you would like to try this form of painting, Suzanne is the one to teach you!



This event is on 27th January, 2018 from 12 noon to 3.00 pm at the J Shed in Fremantle.

[b]ABOUT SUZANNE**
Suzanne is adept at Body Painting, Face Painting, Glitter tattoos, and Festival Glitter Faces, and she has won the following awards:




Suzanne has also published a book entitled The Little Book of Face Painted Fairies, This book is for ages 12 to 17 , and Suzanne has some delightful fairy faces as well as sweet stories and great face painting illustrations, which can be reproduced yourself at home.

This course is for anyone who would like to learn to body paint themselves or another person. You will have a talented artist teaching you, and Suzanne will guide you through this amazing course.



The cost is just $99 and this will include your FREE entry to the Rainbow Tide - Body Painting Ball! You can take your painted body model to this ball, and show off your work, as the ball is on that same night at the same venue.

This fee will also include all necessary equipment and materials including body paints, and you can bring your own model to paint, or else practise on yourself!

[b]BODY MODELS[/b]
As stated, you are able to bring your own body model to this workshop, or you can paint your own body if you wish.

If you bring a model, this person does not have to pay a fee, and the model will also receive a discount to attend the Ball.



If you do not know who to bring, you can check into the Rainbow Tribe Facebook page and ask on there.

You can also post on this site if you want to be a body model for someone!



You can book your tickets for the ball at the Rainbow Tribe site however you need to book now as the early bird places are already booked out.

The proceeds that will be made from this workshop will go towards getting more body paints for the Rainbow Tribe Community, as well as their theme camp at Blazing Swan 2018 .



This will also be a fun event and you could go the Blazing Swan and do heaps more body painting in a fabulous atmosphere.

[b]MORE ABOUT RAINBOW TIDE BALL**
At this unusual Ball, you can be painted and watch live body art as you dance [i]"to deep-sea house, under the sea."[/i]

This Ball is being held to raise funds for Rainbow Tribe, who is bringing it's Theme Camp to Blazing Swan 2018, as above. The Ball is one with a twist, as it is also the FREMANTLE BODY PAINTING AWARD function. It will start at 7.00 pm and go until 11.59 pm.

The theme for this year is "Sea creatures and characters, under the water, on the waves, and by the beach", and this will also be held at J Shed in Fremantle.

The first prize for this competition is $750, and you will also receive paint supplies and a photo shoot opportunity, and you can see more about this at the above booking address.

For the competition you will have to supply your own paints and equipment and you can commence painting whenever you want to either before or after you arrive at J shed for the event, and the venue is available from 3.00 pm.

Artists must have their models completed for judging by 9.00 pm on the night at the J Shed. Artists will need to cover their body model as fully as possible and accesories are also allowed, such as headwear.

The models must then do a short catwalk presentation at 10.00 pm, after which the winner will be announced and then presented with their prize.
