Looking for the meaning of life?
Looking for the meaning of life? You may well find it in this vibrant bookshop on King Street, Newtown. The lovely people who work here obviously have - they bare none of the drudgery of usual inner-city folk as they smile and say they'd be delighted if I take photos in their shop.

The shelves are stocked full of books with intriguing titles, meditation CDs, beautiful handmade objects and colourful displays of meditation aids and Fairtrade items.

A vibrant space

Fairtrade fancies

As a parent of young children, I'm always on the lookout for children's books that reinforce the values I want to instil in their upbringing. They're not easy to find, but here I am spoilt for choice. A large area is devoted to a gorgeous range of storybooks from around the world, colouring and activity books, jigsaws and inspiring books for mindful parenting.

The best selection of children's books!

Inspiration for parents

One customer is saying she's already buying Christmas gifts and I have to agree with her, the thought of doing my Christmas shopping here seems a positively joyful task - even in October!
