Anyone for bowls, whoops bocce?

Get ready for some good ol' fashioned fun at the inaugural Bulmers Bocce Tournament at the Bridge. Warm up and test your hand eye co-ordination down the laneway at the Bridge Hotel on Sunday 24th April. The Bridge invites ballers to register in teams of 4, who will battle it out in a knock-out draw to win the grand prize of $1,500 cash.



Apart from all that, the Bridge has to offer a cold ale or a steaming coffee, great food and friendly service, There's plenty of incentives and prizes. Second place winners will score $500, plus there's prizes for best dressed, so get your kit prepared and friends together for a wow of a time.

Hydrate with $8 Bulmers Cider pints and $15 jugs. Registration is $30 deposit per team which will be reimbursed in beverage credit on the day. The draw kicks off at 12pm so you might like to book a table for lunch. To register a team call (03) 9429-5734.



If you've never been to the Bridge Hotel, you are in for a treat. The exterior gives no clues for what's in stall for you. The Bridge hotel has had the Sandhill group classy, innovative and imaginative rejuvenation. This historic pub has been transformed into a mega pub. The entrance of the hotel leads to a laneway that reminded me of walking on a cobblestone lane in New Orleans.

The Bridge Hotel caters for people of all ages. Within the hotel there are several unique area such as wraparound seats, tall bar tables and stools, comfy lounges with eclectic cushions, intimate private spaces, outdoor tables under umbrellas, retro style dining booths. Overhead balconies and open spaces. Take time to appreciate the art and eclectic collection of bikes in the stairwell and photos upstairs.

On a regular day, if there is such a thing at the Bridge Hotel, they serve some classics such as a 200 g Black Angus cheeseburger with salad relish, American mustard, pickles and chips for $21. The southern fried chicken with smashed avocado is very popular or try a brioche Bun, also $21. The pie floater is served with creamy mash, mushy peas and gravy. This sounds perfect for a cold day ($24).



Other traditional pub meals such as fish and chips, chicken parmis and steak sandwiches are done in the Sandhill way – with style and flair.

The staff are renown for their for enormous effort put into special events and their positive attitude. they are out to help you have a fun time.
