Try and add a little bit of spice to your night. Bocados, 17 King Street Warners Bay is that quaint little piece of culture your taste buds will love you for. Stepping inside to a whole other world, Bocados sets the mood for a night full of flavour. With the themes carrying romantic red and splashes of home comfort, the restaurant accommodates for your excited family, your loud friends and that steamy date you couldn't wait to show off.
The service offered is friendly and knowledgeable; a particular mention to the correct pronunciation of the astonishingly hard Spanish dishes that I always manage to get wrong, though half the fun is trying. It is usually hard to find a dedicated staff member who correctly pronounces every special name correctly with the flare of the Spanish accent. I never felt rushed or pressured as they offered me time to absorb the atmosphere and think before I dove into the variety of scrumptious dishes listed before me.
With the peppy and exciting Spanish music filling the room, you are taken away, over the seas and straight onto the shores of Spain. There is a wonderful sense of style constructed to create a vibrant and welcoming space, with a layout that encloses you into intimate tables where murmurs and laughter fly into the air, giving you an exciting experience.
On my last trip to the lively restaurant, I ordered one of the delicious meals on the specials menu, and it was certainly a special dish. A simple offering of seasoned Mushrooms with toasted bread on side, small in appearance but filling to the rim, was all I needed to settle me for the evening. With the constantly changing menus however, Bocados is a place where change is regular. This idea really caught my attention, and makes me curious as to what they have in store for my next visit.
A fiery zest to your evening only takes a step into the front doors of Bocados. Take an evening to relax and enjoy something different. With every visit a new experience, Bocados will give you that taste of authenticity in a little part of your own world.
