I love trying new food and new restaurants. My other passions are Origami and Pokémon

This cafe is no longer trading.

Located in the same row of shops as 4u Bread n Cakes, Bobaz T at Croydon Park is the first outlet of a mobile food vendor that specialises in Bubble Tea. Bubble Tea is a Taiwanese tea-based drink. Bobaz T served these flavoured teas with tapioca balls or fruit-based jellies and there are plain and milk versions available. Each of the offered flavours has "pre-set" toppings but you are free to add, change or omit any of the toppings.

During our visit, we chose to order the Meen Tea and Rooibos Kumquat. The Meen Tea had a fairly mild flavour with just the right amount of mango flavour. One of the toppings of this drink was the Rainbow Jelly, an eye-catching mixture of fruit jellies that had the chewy texture that we expected.

Compared to the Meen Tea, the Rooibos Kumquat flavour was richer with a hint of sourness. The unique part of this drink is the inclusion of Lychee Popping Boba, sphere shaped jellies that burst on your tongue to deliver a sweet punch of flavour. If lychee does not appeal to you, the Popping Boba is also available in passionfruit, pomegranate and pineapple flavours.

While the drinks are primarily meant to bought for takeaway, there are a few seats should you decide to consume the drinks. The décor gave the place a causal and relaxed ambience. Parking is easy as there are plenty of lots in the car park in front of the café.
