The April school holidays in Melbourne serves up plenty of activities for young children. Many of them are free to enjoy. In addition to the Playground in Docklands, the Arts Centre Melbourne and Polyglot Theatre have teamed up to bring you an interactive children activity from 9 to 17 April 2021. This activity is part of Arts Centre Melbourne's 2021 Families Activation Program and assisted by the Australia Council and Creative Victoria.

Entitled 'Boats', this audience-participation activity brings families, kids and Polyglot Theatre's artists together. It encourages children and parents to find fun and adventure in their surroundings through the use of colourful lightweight boats and an urban seascape. There are even castaways waiting to be rescued and shark-infested waters.

This program is suitable for children of all ages. It is a drop-in event and you can participate as long as you wish, within the session times available. No tickets are required. Registrations will be required on arrival via QR code.

10 Apr to 16 Apr - 10am - 12pm & 2pm - 4pm
17 Apr10am - 12pm & 2pm - 3pm
