The Boardwalk, Bendigo has a number of shaded outdoor tables as well as a large indoor area. Enjoy coffee and a slice from one of the decadent cakes on display, or choose something from the luncheon menu and a glass of local wine.
To finish off the afternoon, go for a stroll around
Lake Weeroona and enjoy the birdlife and activities on the Lake. While you are on the wooden boardwalk, you may see some turtles swim to the surface of the water.
The Boardwalk is open for breakfast from 7.30am on weekdays and from 8.00am on weekends and public holidays. The venue can also be booked for special functions and weddings.
There is plenty of free parking nearby and also a tram stop for
Bendigo Tramways in Nolan Street, adjacent to The Boardwalk. The venue appears to be wheelchair and pram accessible.
