For those looking for music a little heavier, the Blurst of Times Festival is on through the Valley on 16 April 2016.

24 of Australia's best punk, rock, hardcore and jangly pop acts over 8 hours. The festival has expanded its floor capacity by expanding to three venues.

The acts will be on four stages at The Foundry, The Brightside, The Zoo and The Brightside Carpark.

The venues open at 4pm and the afternoon kicks off at 4.30pm with These Guy in the Brightside Carpark and Ciggy Pop at The Foundry. Kickstart your Saturday afternoon with a bang.

The Zoo is the only venue not opening at 4pm. With a doors open time of 5.30pm, The Zoo's first opening act is Bryce Schneider at 6.15pm.

The Brightside opens at 4pm but it's first act is Yellowcatredcat at 6pm.

Make sure you get in plenty of pre-gig food to prep yourself for a big night out because this is a hectic night full of partying across all 4 stages.

The headline acts are Polish Club at 10.10pm at The Brightside, The John Steel Singers at 10.15pm followed by Sullivan at The Zoo, crowd favourites Dune Rats at 10.50pm at Brightside Carpark, and The Foundry has Moses Gunn Collective at 10pm followed by Kirin J Callinan.

Be there or miss out, this is a big lineup.

Tickets are $56.10 available via Oztix.
