I am learning all the time. The tombstone will be my diploma. ~ Eartha Kitt

The Blumbergville Clock gives the High st. of Boonah a bit of a steampunk vibe.

After the natural disasters of 2011 and 2013 that affected so many Queenslanders the Scenic Rim Regional Council commissioned this piece to honour the spirit of resilience in the local farming community. It was designed by Christopher Trotter and built from recycled objects donated by local residents. The name "Blumbergville" refers to the old name of the town now known as Boonah.

If you get a chance, have a listen as it chimes the hour.

Christopher Trotter is responsible for a number of quirky public art works in Brisbane. Many of you will have relaxed on the seat beside his "City Roos" in George Street.
