Will Bob Bilby Have Fun at Bingo's House?
Bluey Bob Bilby
Ludo Studios. Penguin Books.

Bluey Bob Bilby is a children's board style picture book based on the award-winning Australian television show Bluey. It is 24 pages long and was published on 3 March 2020 by Penguin Books. Bob Bilby is based on episode twelve of season one, Bob Bilby, which aired on 12 October 2018 to an audience of 177,000.

Bob Bilby is told from the point of view of Bob Bilby himself, a puppet, who belongs to Bingo's kindergarten class. Bob gets given to Bingo to go to her house to have fun times! Bob has already visited lots of friends and had many different adventures with them. He keeps memories of these fun times as photographs in a book. Bob goes home and meets Bingo's family. They watch cartoons and spend a long time playing with tablets. When Bingo's Mum puts photos of the things they've done in Bob's book, the family realizes they have been spending too much time using technology, so they ditch the tablet and decide to spend more time doing more exciting things with Bob Bilby.

Bluey Bob Bilby is another great Bluey children's book. The colours are bright and colourful, the illustrations are straight from the show, and the pages are made of firm, thick card. It also contains a positive message in it about the importance of enjoying technology in moderation.
