. This year, the three day event will run from Friday 9th November, 2012 till Sunday 11th November, 2012 and this year will mark the 20th Anniversary of the blues festival.
The picturesque town of
Bridgetown is in the very centre of the South-West with many local attractions and breathtaking views. It is about a three hour drive from Perth.
The first Blues at Bridgetown Festival was held in 1993 and attracted about five thousand people. The following year over twelve thousand people attended and these numbers continue to grow each year. The event is now so popular that visitors come from all over the place just to attend the festival.

As part of the Blues at Bridgetown Festival, Bridgetown turns on a Street Party with stalls, buskers and entertainment for people of all ages. Plenty of merchandise, food and drink stalls line the streets and there are lots of musicians and street performers to keep you happy. The whole place takes on a carnival atmosphere, alive and buzzing with people out to have a good time.
During the Blues at Bridgetown Festival, accommodation is scarce, so it is a good idea to book well in advance. There are various motels, chalets and bed & breakfasts in Bridgetown or there is a camping alternative. While the festival is on, there are a couple of Tent City camping options available offering two or three man tent accommodation for the weekend. If you have your own camping equipment, space is available at the Show Grounds in Bridgetown. Bookings for Tent City and other camping venues is essential so visit the

Tickets for Adults and youths (14 to 17 years of age) can be purchased for one day of the festive (either Friday, Saturday or Sunday) or for the whole weekend which allows entry into all ticketed venues.
