If you're a fan of exciting live music and you want to begin your weekend with a bang, I suggest you take the 5-minute walk from Perth Underground station to Capitol on the 20th of April and see the pulsating indie-rock five-piece that is Bluejuice.
I'm sure the name sounds familiar to you; they have boasted several top-of-the-chart hits over the last few years, the most prominent being dance tune 'Broken Leg', and the most recent being hit single 'Act Yr Age', which has had much airplay over a variety of radio stations.
Their latest album, 'Company', was featured on Triple J to many positive reviews. On their Big Day Out tour this year in Perth, they set the stage alight, playing to a room reaching full capacity whilst their fans let them know how appreciative they were by dancing the set away.
Bluejuice has done nothing but grow over the last few years. I believe they are appealing to a wide audience for their extremely catchy tunes, their hilarious music clips, and exciting engagement with the audience they're performing to.
Joining Bluejuice will be the roughness of Loon Lake (Melbourne) and garage cool of The Cairos (Brisbane). The doors between Capitol and Amplifier will open at midnight and will become a normal club so you can feel free to continue on with your night as you please. Be prepared for sore feet, a ton of laughs and a fantastic live music experience.
Event is strictly for people over 18. ID is required. Doors open at 8pm.
