Blue Diamond is one of those places that everyone seems to know in Chiang Mai. It is often used as a landmark, for example as an answer to the question "Where do you stay?" You might answer "Oh you know, near Blue Diamond."
It is that sort of place, with its pretty garden complete with Koi Carp fish pond and waterfall feature and selection of health foods and baked goods in the front.

They have an extensive menu, somewhat over done with the amount of pictures. What I mean by that is that they have a picture for pretty much every variation of their breakfasts, and they specialise in breakfasts.
It isn't just breakfast though, you can have a variety of Western and Thai dishes as well and they are all prepared with health in mind it seems. Portions are pretty large but prices are also up there, this is certainly a place for farang rather than locals so don't expect anything particularly authentic. It isn't a vegetarian place but there are plenty of veggie options and some excellent salads.
They also sell all of this stuff so you can get a packet of bee pollen or flax seeds and go and make your own muesli if you like or take away a bottle of kombucha or coconut keffir to help your digestive enzymes.
