The is located on the banks of Lake Bonney. The cafe is actually a refurbished boatshed. According to signage on the site, the building was originally known as 'Reg and Gertie Bishop's Boatshed' and garaged the jet-powered hydroplane David Campbell was planning to use to attempt to break the world water record speed.

On 23 November 1964, Campbell succeeded in setting a new Australian world water speed record in his vessel known as 'Bluebird K7". Unfortunately, weather conditions never allowed him to set a new world record.

The cafe serves light meals, including seafood and calamari, croissants (beginning at $8.95), beef burgers on brioche or damper buns ($11.90), cashew chicken ($23.90), Greek salad ($12.90), grilled fish ($19.90) and Asian laksa (from $22.90).

Meals are available day or evening and homemade sweets and coffee are also available. The cafe also hires out zorbings.
