Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney is taking high tea to the highest peak of perfection with the launch of an innovative new High Tea buffet created by Anna Polyviou. At Blu Bar on 36, you'll also be treated to Sydney's best views.
You will probably know Polyviou as a judge on the brand-new prime-time cooking competition

Not to mention her high tea and decadent dessert station at Cafe Mix, her moreish treats at Lobby Lounge and the Horizon Club, and her inventive in-room dining and banquet menus.
The unique elements of Polyviou's high tea includes stunning sweet treats and tempting savouries, all designed in the 'Punk Princess of Pastry's' distinctive style. Think of her signature colours, sleek glassware, teapots and cutlery.
Then think of desserts such as Pina-Colada (coconut, pineapple, lemongrass and Malibu), Popping (caramel, popcorn, chocolate) and Strawberries 'n' Creme (strawberry, mascarpone, vanilla), to name a few.
Then there's Polyviou's twist on traditional high tea favourites, like egg (egg, mayo, watercress), salad (goat's cheese, vegetables, olive oil) and quiche (roast vegetable and Lorraine).
Here is the
full menu.
Imagine sinking into plush velvet lounges and enjoying free-flowing teapot cocktails including Passion Tea-quila, Pink Panther, and a Mohawk concoction reflecting Polyviou's hot pink hair. The talented bartenders at Blu Bar on 36's have also been busy creating sensational accompanying cocktails.
Then to add to the experience are the jaw-dropping views of the city, the Opera House and the majestic Sydney Harbour if you are not too engrossed in your feast.
