I'm not saying I'm a girly-girl who makes it a point to regularly get a manicure and pedicure, but when it comes to my hair, it's all about getting only the best hands for their nurturing and nourishment.

That's why I go to - a quaint little salon that has been around Adelaide since 2003 and has recently relocated to Level 1 in Rundle Place, Rundle Mall.



The layout of this salon is one of my points of interest - it is clean, meticulous and gives you a good balance of personal space and socialising circle. Although the shoppers at Rundle Place can look into the salon, it's useful to simply think of them as a fleeting thought and focus on what is happening with your hair; aka what the stylist is recommending be done to your hair.

There is a multitude of services provided by the highly experienced staff at Blow! for men, women and children such as:
Cut ($10-90)
Style ($45-85)
Colour ($35-160)
Treatment ($15-30)
Extensions ($25)
Perms ($75-600)



As you can see, there's a wide range of prices for each service. I have placed a variable price range based on the information on their website, but it all depends on what it is that you want done to your luscious locks.

Fret not, for being poor may not have to be a thing if you consult with their extremely friendly staff about options of what can be done with your hair.



The main reason why I go to this salon is because of their staff - they are incredibly friendly, helpful and supportive and are there to take very good care of you. You can be assured that you will be in safe hands when being pampered by any of the staff at Blow!.

Also, they supply you with free coffee (made to order!) while you wait for your hair to be washed/dried. And it is absolutely divine!



I have received service from almost every staff member who is currently working at Blow! and I can say that each and every one of them knows what they're doing and do it well! So, if you're a bit concerned about who to pick, don't worry too much about it, because no matter who your stylist is, they will give you a makeover you will instantly fall in love with.

In case you're wondering - yes, I do have a personal favourite: Monique. She is a positive, quirky and extremely professional stylist who will make your visits to the salon enjoyable and relaxing.



Make sure you 'like' their Facebook page because they occasionally post 1-day discounts on their services.

As I said, it is an expensive trip to the salon, but if you are looking for quality service, a great team of experts who know how to handle hair, and a fantastic new makeover, then Blow! is the salon for you.
