You're blooming mad if you miss Blooms on Brice
Blooms on Brice is a floral experience and a blooming good one.

florist shop
The florist shop.

As soon as you enter you are surrounded by flowers, flowers and more flowers.

The impressive first view as you enter.

In past days, florist shops was where you bought a bunch of flowers or a small arrangement. Today bunches of flowers and arrangements are still popular, but now florists are almost a one stop gift shop.

Not everything is floral.

gifts
The closer you get, the better they look.

Apart from flowers the range of products include bouquets, box arrangements, cards, casket sheafs/sprays, centre pieces, wreaths, posies, and wedding flowers.

cards
A good range of cards.

Balloons, jewellery, handbags, clothing, scarves, Ecoya candles and fragrant products, gifts and homewares are some of the many other items available.

Owner Kerri says Blooms have been in Mooroolbark for 25 years. On my visit, she was busily making up a display of white roses in a glass bowl for a waiting customer. Now, that is service.

In a recent floral competition, Blooms on Brice was a finalist in the 'Best florist in Melbourne competition.'

Arranging never ends.

When asked what the most popular flower was today, Kerri answered, "Australian natives."

Take your pick.

St. Valentine's Day and Mother's Day are still very popular and busy days for florists.

Throughout the shop are numerous displays showcasing the floral art of Keri and her talented team.

indoor plants
Indoor plants can grow for you.

Flowers can be delivered to all parts of Melbourne and like most good florists, they are part of the Interflora organisation, which is a world-wide flower delivery service.

flower arrangements
Stunning arrangements.

Around the shop and in the front window some cute little soft toys were noticed. They were Charlie Bears. Give mum some flowers and a bear for the baby.

A more than cute Charlie bear.

Diversification is the name of the game these days and Blooms on Brice certainly believe in the concept. Apart from floral buttonholes, other things you can buy and wear are dresses, jewellery, handbags and a large range of scarves.

The jewelry pieces.

Some beautiful angel figurines were noticed, almost hiding in a display cabinet. They, with many of the multitude of other non-floral little items, would make a perfect addition to a floral present. Long after the flowers were only a beautiful memory, these little additions will make those memories linger forever.

A heavenly gift.

Even if you are not in a flower buying mood, call in and your mood may change.
