When business women get together, powerful things start to happen. Bloom Networking is a perfect example of that.

Mornington Peninsula based Bloom Networking, connects women in business with like-minded ladies. The concept is to bring local women together, to share not only their business concepts, but also ideas, referrals, suggestions and knowledge to grow.

As as first time guest to a morning Bloom Networking (Frankston) event, I instantly warmed to the group of women. Preconceptions of clique circles were instantly washed away after a casual get-to-know chat over a hot beverage. After a 30-second formal introduction, I soon realised I was not the only first-timer Bloomer.

Over the course of 3 hours, two inspirational guest speakers showcased not only what they do as a business, but how their experience help others. In-between talks, brunch is provided, with time to chat to other Bloomers. I went home with three business cards after making genuine work contacts.

Meets are as frequent as you want them to be. As a member of Bloom Networking, you choose to attend as many meets as you want to. That said, you don't have to commit to a monthly membership, you can attend any Bloom Network meet as a paid guest.

Becoming a Bloom Networking Member entitles you to extras, for example:

Daisy membership includes
  • Access to Bloom Members-only Facebook Group
  • Promotion in online Bloom Business Directory
  • Access to Members-only Resources
  • Free-entry to Bloom Monthly Meetings
  • Opportunity to promote your business at meetings as 'Member in Bloom'

  • Lily membership includes
  • Access to Bloom Members-only Facebook Group
  • Promotion in online Bloom Business Directory
  • Access to Members-only Resources
  • Free-entry to Bloom Monthly Meetings
  • Opportunity to promote your business at meetings as 'Member in Bloom'
  • Access to fortnightly Bloom mastermind sessions
  • Promotion on Bloom TV
  • Feature on the Blooming in Business Podcast

  • At the time of writing, Daisy membership is $44 per month, and Lily membership $89 per month. Casual attendance at a Bloom Networking meet is $29.

Bloom Networking is blossoming in its own right. Bloom Netoworking Jo Schutt has taken the concept to new locations; St Kilda, Mornington, Rye and Dromana. As well as morning meets, you now have the opportunity to connect with others in evening events, with bubbles, too!

Would I go to a Bloom Networking meet again? Abso-blooming-lutely! You should, too.
