Step back into the world of the Black Dagger Brotherhood with the third instalment of The Black Dagger Legacy.

The training group are back and their adventure continues, along with their training. This book focuses on Peyton - who as an aristocrat should have been happy to marry as is tradition (but so not him) and Novo - whose past up until now she has kept very much to herself.

Peyton had thought he'd found his perfect match - the problem is she fell in love with someone else. For now, his sole focus is on the training program and proving he's more than the aristocratic upstart some of the others think he is. As a female in the program - the only other than Paradise - Novo has always felt that she has to prove herself more than the males. She also has no interest in any sort of a relationship, but after Peyton's actions during a fight prove he is more than an upstart, Novo finds herself wanting to open up to Peyton and face the events of the past that made her such a 'hard-arse'.

On the sideline of all this Saxton, the King's personal lawyer and legal adviser, has finally found himself attracted to someone - something he thought wouldn't happen after breaking up with Blay. Problem is, it's Ruhn, Bitty's uncle - who's only just become part of the household and still trying to find his place himself.

JR Ward has delivered again with this one, and restored my faith in the series following the disappointment of where The Chosen went. And I'm falling more in love with these new characters!
