I am a world traveller & a mom of two, (8 & 6). I love to meet people, and am fascinated that there are 7 billion stories out there to be explored. I think Melbourne is the most happening city to live in with all the fun activities around town.
Blokes supporting Blokes
There are seldom events that are organized by the blokes for the blokes. One such event will be held on Friday, 12th September 2014 at the Cardinia Cultural Centre, which is located in the South Eastern suburb of Pakenham. The event is called "Casey Cardinia's Biggest Ever Blokes BBQ" which will attempt to raise funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. Everyone is invited to attend.

The event starts at 12pm with pre-lunch drinks and an opportunity to mingle and socialize. A full BBQ Lunch will be served at 12:45pm. You will also have the opportunity to meet and greet with the special guest Scott Cummings, former AFL player, who played for Essendon, Port Adelaide, the West Coast Eagles and Collingwood. Damien Fleming is also attending as special guest, who played for the Australian national cricket team and domestic cricket for Victoria.
Tickets are priced at $110 each, and groups of ten can book out an entire table. All proceeds will go towards cancer research, and participants can be sure that they will be helping with a great cause. There will be plenty of entertainment, music, door prizes and fundraising auctions. Ticket purchases and booking information is available here. There is a maximum capacity of 450 guests, so book early to ensure your spot. It is an excellent opportunity to drive down to Pakenham, support a great cause, have a good time, and meet some like-minded blokes.
