Block Party Construction Zone: LEGO® Fun


These school holidays, the National Museum of Australia will be holding LEGO activities in conjunction with their Towers of Tomorrow Exhibition. In the Main Hall there will be a "drop-in" LEGO activity, which costs $2 and runs between 9.30am-12.30pm and 1.30pm–3.30pm, between the dates 26th-29th September and 3rd-6th October.

There will also be the following 3 LEGO workshops to book into:

LearnToLearn is a one hour workshop for kids to complete challenges and learn new ideas. Each child booked in will receive a LearnToLearn LEGO set and name badge to take home.
Cost: $15.
Dates: Tuesday 26th - Friday 29th September.
Time: 10am–11am
For ages: 4 and over

EV3 Mindstorm® Robotics is a one hour workshop which teaches kids about programing using LEGO® EV3 Mindstorm® robots.
Cost: $15
Dates: Tuesday 26th - Friday 29th September
Time: 11.30am–12.30pm
For ages: 10 and over.

Robogals Canberra workshop is a 2 hour workshop which is a hands-on workshop using LEGO® robots. Learn about engineering, coding and how to apply these skills to real world problems. Girls are encouraged to participate.
Cost: $15
Dates: Tuesday, 3rd - Friday, 6th October
Time: 1pm - 3pm
For ages: 8-14 years
