Looking for something to do this chilling Winter? How about celebrating the French Bastille Day in heart of the Sydney City?July is the party month in France and Sydney has finally caught-on!

Bleu Blanc Rouge (BBR) Festival is an outdoor festival to celebrate the French National Day and a special occasion to gather Sydneysiders and the French community together. The festival will take place at the Sydney's Circular Quay foreshore, in front of the Customs House and adjoining Customs House Square, for three days from Friday 10 July to Sunday 12 July 2015.

This will be the third year of the fabulous BBR French Festival. I attended last year and this festival attracted over 140,000 attendees and became one of biggest French events in Australia!

If you like anything French, chances are you will enjoy this massive 3 days festival with high spirit. You can expect a dazzling mix of flavours, aromas, colours and sounds inspired by the French style.

Over the three days, the festival will be about food, wine, music and cultural activities from the four French-speaking countries: Belgium, Canada, France and Switzerland.

Last year, I could not get enough French food, but this year it will be bigger and better. There will be over 50 food specialities market stalls representing the 4 countries.

From the Belgian Village: Belgian fries, waffles and Belgian chocolate.

From the Canadian Village: Sugar Shack, smoked meats and Poutine

From the French Village: Crêpes, foie gras, saucisson, rillettes, cheeses, macarons, eclairs, pâtisseries and regional wines

From the Swiss Village: Raclette cheese, rosti, hot spiced wine, hot chocolate, chocolate fondue and more chocolate.

I was amazed with the delicious specialty French food on offer last year. The long wait for a mouthwatering French savoury crepe and a cup of hearty authentic french onion soup was worth the effort. We were weaken at the sight of French macarons and chocolates, and the tempting range of French wines did not assist with our mid-year diet-resolution.

BBR Festival will also feature an artisan market that will showcase a range of exclusive lifestyle homewares and decor products with a French flair.

There's something special about a French Market that always draws me back for more. Perhaps it's because we all know France is very famous for its artisan markets where you can buy locally-made, high quality, affordable products direct from carefully selected sellers and craftspeople.

Set aside some time to browse the Artisan Market where you will find beautiful linen to unique jewellery, from vintage French posters to Parisian style products, from beautiful French Provincial furniture to stylish French accessories. Your sense of beauty will be richly awarded.

The festival will also host Hands-on cooking masterclasses by famous Chefs, spectacular free live concerts, open air cinema screenings, cabaret shows, and a famous French DJ will be spinning the beats on Saturday night for Sydney's funkiest dance party at "le bal du quatorze juillet". You can celebrate Bastille Day like the French do in Sydney. Wear your blue, white red stripes with pride and indulge yourself with exquisite French food. Or you can simply immense yourself in the foreign French culture. Add a bit of Parisian style dust and dance away all night long at the Argyle.

This is a very popular cultural Festival and definitely not to be missed!
