Celebrate the Truffle Festival & meet the dogs
Celebrate the Truffle Festival at the "Blessing of the Truffle Dogs" at Tarago Truffles on 18th June. Tarago Truffles is located 50 minutes north east of the CBD. Starting at 11am, meet the truffle dogs from around the region and watch the official blessing, conducted by the Rt Revd Tom Frame of Mulwaree Anglican Parish. See the dogs in action as they hunt for the prized Black Truffle and then enjoy a country-style lunch, with truffle, afterwards. The cost per ticket is $120 - see the Eventbrite website for details.

Please note:
* In order to minimise the introduction of disease or competing fungi, you will be asked to clean soil/contaminants from the soles of your footwear before entering the Sturgiss property where the truffiere is located.

* You will also be asked to ensure your jackets, hats, scarves and bags are free from possible contaminants. Before entering the truffiere you will need to step through a foot bath containing a chlorine solution similar to that used in swimming pools.
