Blanc de Blanc, in Brisbane from September 2nd to the 24th in the Magic Mirrors Spiegeltent at South Bank, is easily the brightest light of the Brisbane Festival.

It is the Festival's equivalent of a well-deserved naughty gift to a good girl. She deserves surprises, to have fun, to experience hot love and to be shown a really, really good time.

The breath-taking Circus is a cross between a French Cabaret and your favourite nightclub; it's swimming in champagne and euphoric on laughter.



Consider yourself warned - The R-rated affair and not for the prudishly inclined. There are moments in the show that can only be described as hypnotically beautiful and others where you may find yourself flushed crimson and covering your partner's eyes. However, throughout the entire show, at all moments, you will find yourself thoroughly entertained.



The cast are made up of the finest dancers, contortionists, acrobats and mimes talents from around the world. The set is straight out of a dream, influenced by 1920's vintage glamour.

Every creative decision from the choreography, lighting, set design to the beaded head pieces and sequenced bustiers enhance and deliver a must see show.

I do have one question for the Blanc de Blanc crew; Where can I purchase the soundtrack? The music not only set the tone. but it carried the pace and had you going all the way through to the ... explosive ... high!
