Looking for a great family day out on Easter Saturday? Then Blackwood is the place to be. This Saturday, April 20, from 11.00 to 17.00, bring a picnic or buy food from local stores or a sausage from one of the market stalls down where all the action is at the Blackwood Recreation Reserve.



Starting in Martin Street (Blackwood's main street), at 11am with a parade. See who is crowned the new King and Queen of Blackwood, and of course Blackwood's famous Hetty Hen.


Entrance to the Reserve that day is $5 for adults, $1 children and free for children 5 and under.

So come and enjoy market stalls, woodchopping, family activities and games including a gum throwing competition. Jumping castle, pet shows and much more.
