Spring in Adelaide is always beautiful, and an ideal way to experience its magic is to pay a visit to one of the many fairs and fetes that take place throughout the city at this time of year. With Christmas just around the corner, these are often great places to purchase beautiful one-of-kind gifts and locally-grown produce, as well as to support worthy local causes. Coming up very soon is one of our city's favourite community events, the Blackwood Rotary Christmas Fair, which will be held on Sunday November 15th at Karinya Reserve in Eden Hill. If Christmas shopping is on your mind at the moment, be sure to mark this event into your weekly calendar.

Blackwood Rotary Christmas Fair is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and is bigger and better than ever before, with loads of fabulous community stalls taking part on the big day. All the classic fair-time favourites will be there - plants, second hand books, bric-a-brac, gourmet food, loads of gorgeous handmade wares and much, much more. Family entertainment on the day will be a Coast FM Live Broadcast, Blackwood High School singers and the Mitcham City Brass Band. There will be plenty of children's entertainment as well, including a bouncy castle, Farmer Darcy's Travelling farm, Clancy the Jelly Bean Train and quite a few other fun surprises. Father Christmas will even be making an appearance.
In a nutshell, whether you're a veteran fair-lover, have an active young family to entertain, or want to find some special Christmas presents for your loved-ones, this year's Blackwood Rotary Community Fair promises to be a great day out with something for everyone. Taking place from 9am until 3pm on Sunday November 15th 2015, it will be held at Karinya Reserve on Shepherds Hill Road in Eden Hills. Entry is free, but a gold coin donation would be greatly appreciated. To learn more, go to the
