There will be something for everyone with this HUGE Festival
For the ultimate week-long of fun and entertainment, the Blacktown City Festival will be pulling out all the stops to make this community event one Festival not to miss out on!

This fully-loaded Festival will include an abundance of events, with something for all interests and ages. There will be six main entertainment precincts including amusement rides, market stalls, attractions, workshops, demonstrations, presentations and performances, meet and greet your favourite princess and superheros, ice-skating rink, food trucks and much more.

Some events will include:

The Blacktown City Medieval Fayre.
Nurragingy Reserve will be transformed into a medieval extravaganza with the Blacktown City Medieval Fayre which will feature regal pageantry from the past King and Queens, lords and ladies, and knights in full armour, assortment of roving characters, medieval village displays, Prey Show, medieval displays, combats, jousting, art and craft stalls, camel and pony rides, costume competitions, and much more.

The Reconciliation Gathering Walk and Concert will be held at Dawson Mall, Mount Druitt and it will feature entertainment, market stalls, demonstrations, workshops, and Mount Druitt's Got Talent Competition. The Reconciliation Walk will commence at 12pm from Dawson Mall.

National Sorry Day

This event will give opportunities for everyone to come together and share the step towards healing from the Stolen Generation, their families and communities. It will be held on the 26 May at 12pm, Blacktown Arts Centre.

Rap 4 Change Workshops are workshops designed to aim to educate youth on the importance of education and dealing with issues such as bulling, racism, peer pressure, drugs and alcohol. This event is suitable for children aged 10-15 years old.

Skate on the Green is a 'wintery' surprise with the Festival's very first synthetic ice-skating event! The event will feature pre-schoolers and big kids sessions, food trucks, and entertainment. There is a fee for this event- see website.

There will be children concerts happening throughout the Festival, with three concerts each of Peppa and George Pig and Trolls. The kids will no doubt love these fun and entertaining concerts.

If you have a sweet tooth, then you will love the Sweet Indulgence Event! The event will include all things sweet with a choc-fill evening of all things sweet and delectable. There will be an array of delicious food stalls featuring some of Sydney's finest dessert vendors.

Laugh out loud with the Lots of Laughs Comedy Night Event. The event will feature a comedy barrage sure to get lots of laughs, with comedians poking fun at themselves and everything else. This event is a 18 years and over event with 'Strong language warning'.

The 'An Evening in the Pacific Gala Night' will be an evening featuring beautiful culture as well as being the first in Australia's history. There will be a rare and intimate contemporary Polynesian performance.

The Blacktown City Festival will not be complete without the Streets Alive and Parade Day Event! The event will include a massive entertaining street parade, amusement rides, market stalls, activities, meet and greet, displays, attractions and plenty of entertainment for all interests and ages.

With so many things to see, do, experience and enjoy at the Festival; you must add it to the calendar as this Festival is going to be one epic festival not to miss, so gather family and friends and enjoy week-long events!
