The Cobb n Co Museum in Toowoomba offers a number of blacksmithing workshops. These include Blacksmithing Basics, Blacksmithing Advanced, Blacksmithing 2 day project, Blacksmithing 3 day project, and Blacksmithing Teens.

Blacksmithing Basics

In the Blacksmithing Basics course, attendees are taught to make their own set of tools. This two-day workshop cost $140.

Dates of the Blacksmithing Basics course in 2020 are:

15-16 March; 18-19 April; 23-24 May; 13-14 June; 18-19 July; 15-16 August; 26-27 September; 17-18 October; 14-15 November; and 12-13 December

Blacksmithing Advanced

Those who have completed the Blacksmithing Basics course are welcome to come and advance their skills during this two-day workshop to create a fireside BBQ tool set. The cost is $420.

Dates of the Blacksmithing Advanced course in 2020 are:

9-10 May; and 19-20 September

Blacksmithing 2 Day Project

This two-day workshop allows further extension of skills beyond the Blacksmithing Advanced course. The cost is $420.

Dates of the Blacksmithing 2 Day project in 2020 are:

4-5 April (firewood rack)
5-6 December (knife or hatchet)

Blacksmithing 3 Day Project

This three-day workshop allows further extension of skills beyond the Blacksmithing two-day course. The cost is $620.

Dates of the Blacksmithing 2 Day project in 2020 are:

3-5 October

B]Blacksmithing Teens[/B]

These 3-hour workshops are designed for teens from 13 - 17 years of age. The cost is $95.

Dates of the Blacksmithing Teens workshops in 2020 are:

1 July (9am - 1pm)
9 July (9am - 1pm)
