Black Sheep Caffe - Not so sleepy Samford
Ever wanted to escape the city but not too keen on travelling too far? You'd be forgiven for thinking that Samford sounded too 'out in the sticks' however you'll be pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous countryside and rolling hills this quaint little village has to offer. Only 21km's from the city, Samford is definitely worth a visit on your next weekend drive.
Black Sheep is a relaxed café on Main street with seating inside and out. You'll find a variety of seating options, offering privacy and a homely type feel offering you the opportunity to bask in the sun. On my visit to Black Sheep there was a spine chilling wind, so unfortunately a little chilly to sit outside.
The menu has all the regular breakfast offenders (with an all day breakfast menu - amazing!) ranging from raisin toast to omelettes, pancakes to eggs benedict. With this variety you can easily have a wallet friendly option or lash out and get a few extras.
I decided on 'Black Sheep' - and opted to add an additional egg for an extra $2 (hey, I needed a little extra protein - it was well worth it when I was presented with two perfectly poached eggs).
