Where is ?

is located in Tarragindi, a suburb on the south side of Brisbane which is an easy 15 minutes from the central business district by car. Tarragindi was named after a Kanakas native, Tarra Gindi Tasserone, from the Loyalty Islands (near what we now call New Caledonia) who was transported to Queensland in the late 19th century. During this time period, the Kanakas people were a cheap source of labour for sugarcane production - however, the native in question apparently escaped and was subsequently employed by Alfred Foote and William Grimes. He cleared land for the latter employer - this land was named after him, and is the land we know as Tarragindi. It's also the land upon which sits!

Is dog-friendly?

Seeing as the cafe is named after a breed of dog, would you really have expected an answer other than "yes"? Take a quick look at their Instagram page, and you will no doubt be pleasantly surprised at the number of dogs that have made their regular haunt - be prepared to meet lots of new doggy friends! is indeed dog-friendly; water bowls with fresh drinking water are provided - there's even a large doggie water refill station at the front of the cafe. Best of all, also have available a selection of Discuits doggy treats - these treats are handmade, home-baked and contain only carefully selected natural ingredients. Who says healthy has to be boring?

What seating is available at ?

There is plenty of indoor seating available at - a large proportion of the floor is covered in astroturf grass, which no doubt was designed with dogs' best comfort in mind. Who wants to lie on a cold tiled floor, right? There are both small and larger sized tables available, to suit parties of all numbers. In addition to a few single chairs near the counter, there are also several outside - this is so that people who order their coffee to-go can wait comfortably.

What food and drink options are there at ?

As per its name, specialises in coffee - everyone's favourite word in the morning. More specifically, it specialises in "quality barista-made takeaway coffee", and boy is it good coffee. Coffee at is brewed to perfection using Di Bella coffee beans, roasted locally here in Brisbane. If you love their coffee, make sure to grab yourself a rewards card and get stamping, because you'll be able to get your 10th coffee on the house! And there's much more. also offers a range of freshly blended smoothies, with flavours such as Mango Lassi, Hulk, Berry Blast, Banana Nut, and Coffee Frappe, in addition to milkshakes. There's also a wide selection of drinks available in the fridge. As for food, there is a range of takeaway options available at the counter, including toasties, bacon and egg rolls, and baked desserts - although of course availability may vary on a day-to-day basis.

Is there anything else worth noting about ?

has hosted pop-up adoptions in conjunction with RSPCA , and will no doubt hold more in the near future so remember to follow them on Facebook or Instagram to be updated on the latest exciting things that are happening in this space! In addition to a day full of fun with lots of canine cuddles (arguably the best type of cuddles), it's also a worthwhile cause that is well worth your time.

Oh, and in case you were wondering why this cafe is called , the reason for this is because it's owned by a black labrador... yes, seriously! Okay fine, not exactly - but resident black lab, known as "The Boss", is known to make frequent appearances at . Fingers crossed you'll run into her when you visit!
