Have you visited this popular network of parklands?
The Black Gully Park Network consists of a series of linked parkland areas that cater for the whole family.

A central hub, known as Black Gully Park 3, is the most developed for families and includes a variety of playground equipment. For young children, there is a brightly coloured dinosaur playground.

For older children, there is more challenging climbing equipment using ropes and a rock wall, while adults can workout on the exercise equipment. There are also swings, and although the playground equipment is all installed over a soft-fall surface, sandpits run along each side of this

This area of parkland has a couple of shaded picnic areas, one of which has a gas BBQ installed.

This area of the parkland also has an amenities block that includes disabled access toilets. These amenities serve the entire Black Gully Park Network.

Leading down a slope from this section of park is a large grassy area that makes up Black Gully Park 4 (North and Mort Streets), with another picnic shelter.

Across the road, there are two dog park areas. The closest is a fenced off-leash dog park - Clearview Street Park.

This park has a cleverly designed gate system that allows dogs to be kept separate from each other on the way in and out. This is a large fenced area with drinking water for dogs and humans, and a shaded picnic area.

Across the road from here again is the final section of the Black Gully Park Network. This large, partially forested section is also an off-leash dog park, but it is unfenced.

Together these four areas of parkland provide facilities that will be enjoyed by all the family - even the furry members!
