One of the various cafes along O'Connell Street in North Adelaide, is notable in offering a few Vietnamese dishes alongside the usual cafe staples. In addition to their main menu, a selection of specials was listed on the blackboards in the restaurant.

Among the Vietnamese dishes that can be ordered, the Crackling Pork Salad Bowl had roasted pork with juicy flesh set off by crispy crackling. The various thinly cut vegetables added an element of freshness and the rice vermicelli noodles tied everything together. To enjoy the dish, pour the Noc Chum sauce over the ingredients before mixing everything thoroughly.



The Angus beef patty that we chose for our burger was of a generous size and very juicy. The shredded beetroot imparted a slightly sweet flavour to the dish and the rich taste of the beef patty was balanced out by the lettuce and carrots. For a more filling dish, you can add a fried egg for a bit of an extra cost.



Their Waffles were a joy to eat. They were fluffy with lovely soft interiors. Topping the waffles were chocolate chips to add a chocolatey flavour. Accompanying the waffles were scoops of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.



For a lighter dessert option, there was the Raspberry Brownie. The brownie had a soft texture with a rich chocolatey taste. Mixed into the brownie were raspberries whose slightly tart flavour partnered perfectly with the chocolate. The brownie was at its best eaten with the whipped cream to cut through its rich flavour.
