This place has been a well kept secret of coffee lovers throughout the coast. It's featured in a Narnia-like hole in the wall on Surfers Paradise Boulevard, sealed by a red door which is the only thing guarding the New York-esque café.
The interior features loft style painted brick with industrial globes hanging in the corners above Victorian style sofas and eclectic art pieces. The back right corner is full of books for you to peruse while you sip on your perfect cup of coffee and nibble on some of the delectable food.
The menu is gourmet café style with drool worthy burgers, a spring pizza menu and a fine selection of craft beers and other drinks. The mango and chicken burger is a must try with perfectly cooked chicken breast and plump juicy pieces of ripe mango. Their dinner menu is as equally enticing as their breakfast and lunch menus with a selection of tapas including braised duck leg with plum sauce and rose prickled pear. Their well thought out and diverse menu matches the broad range of events which are often on at the venue.
Sunday from 4-8 they have craft beer buckets so you can try the expertly concocted brews with a few buddies, or rock up on Thursday for some whiskey and jazz. Indie groups also frequent the restaurant, sometimes accompanied by breakfast cocktails and beer in the morning.
