Windsor's newest eatery is a treat
Taking up residence in what was formerly Saigon Sally on Windsor's Duke St, BKK Windsor has opened with a name that's a tribute to the Bangkok airport code and a menu that's sure to impress.

Offering punchy, authentic Thai flavours created in partnership with chef Sean Judd (Nahm, Longrain and Chin Chin) at the kitchen's helm, the re-invention of the restaurant site is worth pop in.

With a menu designed to share, diners get the benefit of trying a variety of dishes. You'll also find a complementing cocktail, mocktail and drinks menu.

We started off with one of their most popular dishes, the fried green papaya nest with sweet pork, cherry tomatoes, peanuts and som tum (below).

And if you're a lover of all things hot and spicy, we also ordered up the super-spicy grilled beef salad with cucumber, cherry tomatoes, fresh mint, coriander and a whole lotta chilli (below).

You'll also find plenty of veggie sides like the traditional morning glory and desserts to die for!

Whilst the bones of the restaurant space remain, the same, the team has re-imaged the room and incorporated edgy design elements including backlit 80's glass bricks, an illuminated central bar and texture rendered brick walls.

BKK is open from Wednesday – Sunday from 5:00pm, as well as Bottomless Brunch on Sundays from midday. Bookings available online at www.bkkrestaurant.com.au or by phone (03) 9533 2342.
