See printmakers at work, buy prints direct from the artists
How many of you know that there is a whole world of new experiences housed in a small building at the Hub shopping centre in Aberfoyle Park? You can discover this for yourselves at the two Bittondi SALA Open Studio days on August 23 and 30, from 12 to 4pm.
How to find the studio - x marks the spot
Come and see printmakers at work, learn how the prints are made, try your hand at working an etching press - maybe book into a workshop! And there will be plenty of prints on display and for sale, direct from the artists.
The Bittondi Printmakers Association Inc is a not-for-profit, community based association. It provides a valuable support for young and emerging printmakers, and its mission is to promote the art of printmaking within the local and wider community.

The open access printmaking studio provides a welcome facility for printmakers who do not have their own equipment. It also allows members to share information and skills not just with other members but also with the whole community, through workshops and other activities.
the studio has large workspaces as well as display areas
Regular workshops are give by members in relief printing (lino, woodcuts and wood engraving), etching and drypoint, photopolymer etching and relief printing, screenprinting and related techniques such as paper making. Visitors are also welcome to make suggestions for future workshops.
