If you love tasting boutique beers, this one is for you.
Bitter Suite is found in the quiet leafy suburb of New Farm. This cool little bistro showcases boutique brewers, craft beers, lovely tapas, and lots of delicious foods. This place is worth a look not only for the beer lovers, but anyone else who enjoys a great atmosphere and a great range of food options.
My afternoon was spent sampling the beer. The beer prices are range from $7 to $12, not bad for a crafty pint. The range is spectacular and offers many different beers to choose from; 7 on tap and over 55 types of bottled beers. One of my highlights was the pint of coffee infused IPA I ordered. The friendly staff had incredible knowledge of their products, and were able to recommend beers to suit our tastes.
If beer isn't your cup of tea, don't be discouraged; there is plenty here for everyone to enjoy. Wrap your lips around a French martini for $14, a lovely glass of wine, or one of the many softer options.
For the budding beer enthusiast, head down to Bitter Suite on the second Thursday of every month when the 'Bitter Baron's Meet'. $30 will get you 4 craft beers, nibbles, beer chat and education. What a great way to spend a Thursday night- sampling beers and polishing up your knowledge about the products.
Bitter Suite is open during the week from Tuesday to Friday- 11:30am to 11:30pm, and on the weekends from 8am to 11:30pm. Take a seat on one of the comfy couches, relax, and take in the laid back atmosphere that surrounds this beer bistro.
