Back for its second year is the Bites and Brews Craft Beer and Cider Festival at the Shaftson Hotel.

Running from midday on Saturday 27 February this is a good Saturday afternoon with friends. It's held in the carpark and surrounding area.

Some of Brisbane's hottest food trucks including King of the Wings Kitchen, The Bun Mobile and Char Baby will be there to keep you fed and happy during the afternoon and evening. It's free entry and families are welcome.



The hotel has put on free entertainment to set the mood of the afternoon. And of course, there will be beers, loads of craft beers that you'd normally have to hunt around for including:
- Somersby
- Stone & Wood
- Brews Brothers
- Cricketers Arms
- Tree House Cider
- Newstead Brewery

Last year's festival was generally applauded as a success by those who went, so grab a friend and come along to the second year of the festival. It's good street food, craft beers and mates, what would could you want?

The Bites and Brews Festival is held at the Shaftson Hotel, 3 Lytton Road, East Brisbane.
