I would've never discovered Bishamon Japanese Restaurant if I hadn't worked in Spring Hill. Since I discovered it, it'd become my regular lunch spot whenever I needed to get out of the office or wanted to treat myself for a morning's hard work. Mind you, I'd had to rush to get there before noon to avoid the lunchtime frenzy so be warned.
Bishamon is a Japanese restaurant offering an a la carte menu, as well as sushi and lunch meals containing a ridiculous amount of food. Now, what I love about this place is not only the fact that the meals come with generous servings, but they also produce really scrumptious food. Two birds with one stone! Most items on the lunch menu come with soup, rice, salad, and two sushi rolls. And what's better is that the main dish comes in a big serving. In the past, I remember going to Japanese takeaways for chicken curry and they literally give you four pieces of chicken. Well, you won't get that at this place. Last time I ordered Chicken Nanban, (chicken karaage & green leafy salad with tartar sauce) which was delicious by the way, I couldn't finish the fried chicken. And I LOVE fried chicken. So to leave my last pieces of fried chicken behind was really heartbreaking.
Now, you might not be as big a fan of fried chicken as I am, but I'm sure you will find something on the menu that tickles your fancy. They have a wide variety of meals on their lunch menu and another awesome thing about this place is that they are open for dinner from Monday to Saturday as well. I've not had a chance to go for dinner yet, but I'm sure it will be just as delicious; simply look at their menu. So next time you're around Spring Hill, stop by Bishamon for some delicious Japanese food.
