If you enjoy bird watching, then visit the Jerrabomberra Wetlands in Fyshwick to see wetland birds in their natural habitat. It is free to take a walk around the wetlands and watch the variety of birds that stop there, however Jerrabomberra Wetlands also hosts where you can have a tour with an expert from the Canberra Ornithologists Group before a light breakfast. This is suitable for ages 12 and over.
