While checking the weather in the Bronx for this weekend, I was so excited when I learnt it was going to be so nice. I immediately looked for something to do and voilĂ .
If you like strolling around in a beautiful nature setting here's what to do this beautiful Sunday in the Bronx - not to mention that you can pack a blanket and bring sandwiches to have a little picnic on the ground.
Wave Hill , a 28-acre public garden and cultural center in the Bronx, overlooking the Hudson River and Palisades, is offering a bird watching walk at 9:30am this Sunday April 8. Join with Naturalist
Gabriel Willow who will share his knowledge of bird species and behaviors on these walks through the gardens and woodlands of Wave Hill.
I was at Wave Hill many years ago and I remember how beautiful it was and I am so ready to go back there again to take in the nature and wildlife and take some home with me in my camera. Time to look for those binoculars! The children will enjoy running on the nice young grass and looking for those birds and learning about them.
Admission is free to members and children under 6, $8 for Adults, $4 for Students and Seniors (65), $2 Children 6
Registration is required.
