Children will love learning about growing plants with this fun, hands-on activity because they can get their hands dirty whilst making a seed bomb to take home and plant.
This eco-friendly creative family fun activity is all about making bush critters from seed pods and creating clay sculptures.

This workshop’s objectives is to deepen the connection between local residents and local nature. Participants of any age can pop in to The MET (up to fifteen at a time) to explore photographs of local flora and fauna. Chony Bowden, the host, will guide visitors to transfer the images onto acetate, which will then be coloured with paint pen and set on top of a water-colour background. Each participant will be able to take their art work home, after it’s been photographed to be digitally stored. These images will be stored to later collate into a large collaged mural that will be printed on to three large boards and positioned at The MET in January 2024, celebrating the Sunshine Coast’s incredible biosphere. Please note that not all works will be included.
