Even before Covid-19 turned our world upside down, beautiful, 89-year-old Binna Burra Lodge and its campground burnt down during the devastating bush fires of 2019. Binna Burra, set in World Heritage Lamington National Park in the Gold Coast Hinterland, is a bushwalker and nature lover's paradise.

From September 1 2020, guests will be able to return to the tranquillity of Binna Burra's Sky Lodge Accommodation, and to the Groom's Cottage Cafe. Campsites will reopen from the 14th September 2020. This will include bookings for the new, upgraded safari tents which are east facing and positioned to capture the sun as it rises over the rainforest. Each rebuilt safari tent now has a brand new deck with a breakfast bar, with upcycled materials from local farmers used for the construction where possible. Binna Burra will now also boast 2 Tesla EV chargers supporting their aim for sustainable practices, and new power and water fittings have been installed on each drive-on campsite.

Numerous, gorgeous rainforest hikes have their trailhead at Binna Burra, with options for visitors to explore the rainforest, waterfalls, and even caves all within a day's hike.

Bookings for all of Binna Burra's accommodation options can be made here and include studio apartments, 1-3 bedroom apartments with views across the Numinbah Valley, family safari tents, compact safari tents, caravan or vehicle campsites, and tent campsites. Many of the rare plant and animal species can be seen right on the grounds of the lodge and the campground itself.

With Queenslanders currently being urged to support Queensland, there are few businesses more deserving of our support than Binna Burra following its traumatic bushfire and reconstruction.
