BIMBO on Rundle St is a quirky, fun shop with ever-changing, ever-eclectic merchandise.

I make a point to stop and browse in BIMBO every time I'm in the area, and I always find something new to amuse myself with. It's my first choice for gifts because with it's wide and unpredictable range, there's always something unique to suit my mum, brother, bestie, workmate or long-lost primary school friend.

BIMBO stocks 'compulsive desirables' –things you never knew you needed until you saw them on the shelf. Items like a Mother Mary 'holy toast' stamp, Babushka measuring cups or a tape cassette tape dispenser.

There's homewares, lighting, books, bags and a vast array of novelty items to entertain yourself with – not to mention the extensive jewellery collection which boasts many pieces from local Adelaide makers. Everything here is always just that 'little bit different' and a lot more fun.

BIMBO's website recently opened for online shopping too, so if the recent rainy weekends have been keeping you indoors, you can still feed that 'must-have-now' urge.

To celebrate the launch of its online store, BIMBO is offering free postage and handling for orders over $100 for a limited time (keep in mind that the online store doesn't list every item available so it's always good to go in person too).
