Billy Elliot: The Musical is based on the 2000 film of the same name. Featuring the music from the legendary Elton John, and the book and lyrics of Lee Hall.

Set against the backdrop of the 1984/85 miners' strike; the story follows Billy, a working-class boy whose journey takes him out of the boxing ring and into a ballet class where he discovers a passion for dance that inspires his family, the whole community and changes his life forever.
