Help the kids ditch the after school slump and let them partake in the for Students, taking place on Tuesday 22nd March, 12th and 26th April and 10th and 24th May 2016 at the Thornlie Public Library on Connemara Drive in Thornlie. The program runs from 4:15pm to 5:15pm for each session and is suitable for all students from year 1 to year 12.

These educational and recreational sessions run for a good cause and only require a gold coin donation to participate. All proceeds from the after school sessions go towards the Leukemia Foundation and are a very beneficial opportunity for students to learn a new skill and develop their interests in the company of new people.

The sessions offers everything from music, movement, arts and crafts to the practice of meditation. Students will also be able to learn Mandarin as part of the program. It is delivered by Sensei Ed Gill, a retired clinical psychologist with a strong background in counselling, humanities, numerology, herbalism, naturopathy and geomancy, as well as life-coaching in different wellness programs.

Bookings are essential and registration can be done by emailing [email protected] or calling 0418 663 827. For further information about this fantastic program for students, visit the Creative Wellness Program website and encourage your child to discover something they have never given thought to before.
